The human mind is brilliant at recognizing patterns. To accomplish this, simplification is necessary. Just as image represents a facet, but not the totality of its subject, Our perception often omits details. To view them, We must be willing to look through new lenses and from different vantage points. Where does one pattern end and the next begin? Can Object and Context be independent? 

Trey Abraham is a mixed media artist and musician living in Austin, Texas. His works often include a mixture of printmaking, painting and collage. He received his BFA from the Memphis College of Art in 2012.
